Student Scholarship Opportunity for Research Travel

The National Institutes of Water Resources is sponsoring travel awards for students to attend the joint UCOWR/NIWR/AWRA 60th Anniversary Joint Conference. NIWR is the national organization for state Water Resources Research Institutes, which includes the AWRC.

Both undergraduates and graduate students are eligible to apply. The conference will be held from September 30-October 2, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Students must submit an abstract to present research at the conference to qualify. Both posters and oral presentations qualify. The deadline to submit an abstract is April 29, 2024. See conference website here: https://ucowr.org/conference/.

Two awardees per NIWR region will be chosen at random, with awards ranging from $1,200 to $2,500. For more information and to enter the drawing, students should fill out the form at this link: https://forms.gle/UTnuaqpgYkkUAap79.

The deadline to submit the form is Friday, May 3, 2024 at 3:00 pm CDT.
