The deadline to register for the upcoming Arkansas Water Resources Center annual conference is July 16, 2018. Those who register by this time will receive a FREE conference t-shirt!

The conference is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, July 23-24 at the Fayetteville Town Center.

We’ve got a great group of presenters who will cover a variety of topics related to “The Value of Water”, this year’s conference theme. In Arkansas and surrounding states, we rely on water for agriculture, recreation, drinking water, and ecosystem services. This year’s conference will facilitate a conversation about how valuable water is to the economy and the need to be proactive in management decisions to sustain our water supplies.

Also this year we’re teaming up with the Arkansas chapter of the American Water Resources Association to hold their annual symposium on Tuesday afternoon. The focus of the symposium is on “The Value of Citizen Science Programs in Watershed Water-Quality Management.” All conference participants are encouraged to attend the symposium, and those who do will receive a FREE annual membership to AR-AWRA.
