Call for Abstracts to National Water Resources Conference

The Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) and the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) are hosting their annual water resources conference next summer. The conference will be held on June 26-28, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Conference organizers are calling for abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Abstracts are due by January 22, 2018 and must be submitted online.

This annual conference gathers professionals in research, education, management, and policy to discuss water resources issues across the region, nation, and globe. Professionals and students from all water resources disciplines are invited to engage in conversations about the critical challenges and opportunities we all face. Visit the conference website for more information.

During the conference, UCOWR will recognize awardees in four categories. Those categories include the Warren A. Hall Medal, Friends of UCOWR, Education and Public Service, and PhD Dissertation awards. If you want to nominate someone for an award, email the Arkansas Water Resources Center program manager, Erin Scott, with all the nomination materials by January 31st. Information about each award and the nomination requirements can be found here.
