Water Science and Policy Fellowship Available with EPA
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking applications for an environmental scientist fellowship for the Region 6 Water Division out of Dallas, Texas.
The position will be with the Assessment, Listing, and TMDL section to evaluate and compare the range of State water quality assessment methodologies in the absence of numeric water quality criteria. The successful applicant will also evaluate the use of narrative water quality standards in assessment and water quality restoration planning.
Applicants should have a bachelors and possible masters or doctorate degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field. The degree must have been received within 5 years of the appointment start date, which is expected to be October 1, 2018. The initial appointment is for one year, but may be renewed upon recommendation of EPA.
