EPA Announces Development of Water Reuse Action Plan

Water scarcity is a major issue, especially in the Western U.S., resulting in an increased need for water resource management. Water reuse or recycling is one way of ensuring that communities across the country have a reliable source of water. The EPA is leading a partnership between state, federal, and water sector stakeholders to develop a Water Reuse Action Plan to focus on water supply and resiliency.

This issue is not limited to the Western U.S.; in fact, water scarcity is a growing concern in parts of Arkansas. With this in mind, “Water Management and Nutrient Recovery” will be the primary focus of the 2019 Annual Water Conference, hosted by the Arkansas Water Resources Center. Visit our conference website for more information.
