There’s Still Time for Undergraduates to Apply for Summer Research Experience

Undergraduate students are invited to apply for the Research Experience for Undergraduates program focusing on “Ecosystem Services at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water” at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

The EcoREU is a ten week program during the summer of 2018 where students get to plan and conduct research with a faculty mentor. Students from anywhere in the country can apply for the EcoREU program at the U of A. And, NO PRIOR RESEARCH EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

One of the goals of the EcoREU is to provide opportunities for research experience to a diverse group of students; Native Americans are especially encouraged to apply.

Students who participate in the program will get paid $5,500 over the course of the summer! You’ll also get free room and board plus travel assistance to and from the program.

The EcoREU will begin May 21, 2018 and end July 27. The deadline to apply is January 30.

For more information and to apply, visit the EcoREU website at ecoreu.uark.edu or email ecoreu@uark.edu.
