Student Internship in Water Science, Applications due April 19

The Arkansas Water Resources Center is seeking interested students to apply for this summer’s internship. Each summer we look for a student to help us address a project we’re focused on at the time. This year we are looking for a Water Research and Information Transfer Intern.

The major responsibilities of this position will be working in the AWRC Water Quality Lab on sample analysis, data entry, and quality control activities; assisting with conference planning and preparation; and assisting in the development of social media outreach to help connect the public to scientific information.

The deadline to apply is April 19, 2019.

Founded in 1964, the AWRC engages with students by supporting student research and providing employment opportunities. The AWRC also operates a water quality laboratory where water samples are analyzed for researchers, students, and the public.
