Call for Presentations at AWRC Annual Water Conference 2018
Join the Arkansas Water Resources Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas for our annual water conference scheduled for July 23-24. This year’s theme is “The Value of Water” which will address the relationships between water supplies and industries.
We are inviting proposals for presentations from professionals and students from all water resources sectors and on a variety of topics.
Who should submit a talk:
- Researchers
- Students
- Utilities
- Industry environmental resource managers
- Consulting firms
- Watershed groups
- State agencies
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Animal industry (production or processing)
- Crop industry (production or processing)
- Drinking water industry
- Importance of water to municipalities
- Ecosystem services
- Reclaimed water
- Activities from non-profit organizations
The deadline to submit an abstract is April 11, 2018 and should be emailed to Erin Scott at erins@uark.edu. Abstracts should be less than 250 words and include the presenting authors name and affiliation, co-authors names and affiliations if applicable, and presentation title.
