AWRC Considers Alternatives for Annual Conference

The COVID-19 pandemic is causing changes in our lives on a daily basis. In last month’s email, we were still in normal conference planning mode; now, we are counting on not meeting in person for our conference originally scheduled for July 28 and 29 in Fayetteville.
 
The decision to cancel our in-person meeting leads us to a few alternatives: 1) postpone until the fall, 2) organize a webinar miniseries, or 3) cancel altogether and pick things up next year.
 
We need your input to help guide our decision. Each year we work hard to develop a conference agenda that brings valuable information to our attendees, and we want to facilitate conversation and networking among you, our water resource stakeholders. We want our alternative plan to be as successful as our usual conference event, or at least close given the circumstances.
