2019 Summer Camp with the Illinois River Watershed Partnership

2019 Summer Camp with the Illinois River Watershed Partnership

Are you trying to come up with ideas on how to keep your kids busy and their minds engaged this summer? The Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) might be able to help you out.

The IRWP is offering week-long summer camps this June and July. During each week-long camp, your young campers (ages 7 and up) will get to participate in interactive nature-based activities focused on forest, stream, lake, and urban environments. Kids will enjoy nature hikes, fishing, a relay race, and even collecting bugs from a local stream. There will be a cook out for lunch on Friday to celebrate the end of the camp.

Hurry and register! Each camp group is limited to 32 participants.

Contact Casey Rector, IRWP Program Manager at casey@irwp.org, with any follow-up questions. More information on dates, fees, and registration can be found on IRWP’s education and outreach web page.
